Valkyre Diary - Entry 3

News from the front again... ;)
I painted all the buttons and pipes, the floor and the ramp.
I added a watered down wash of Devlan Mud to give the interior an even dirtier look.

Now it's time for the gunners and some experiments with pigments!
Check back tomorrow!

  1. That looks fantastic! I tried to do the same chipping with the exterior of my valk and did not even come close to yours. great work!

  2. I agree, that is really fantastic - especially the wear and tear - I can never manage that properly.

I'll be keeping this series in my favourites for when I get around to my Valk.

Really looking forward to the remaining posts.

  3. Hi!

    Thx for your comments!
The trick with the sponge is to thin down the
paint and get most of it off the sponge before
you work on the model. Less is really more here.

  4. WOW! That is really coming along nicely. I can't wait to see the finished model.

  5. lol not worth it. I tried to paint my valk insides nice. no point, it's too dark in there. good job anyway
