Stegadon and FIMO-fun

Working on quick tabletop Stegadon at the moment. Lot of airbrushing done so far but it's still way to flat.
Also tried my best again at sculpting a new bust. Well... I really should have a concept next time. ^^
It's made with FIMO classic.

DK, DE and IS

I've finished 2 more models, first of all a Dark Eldar Lhamaean which will hopefully find a good place in Darkezekiel's army. Merry Christmas! (yeah I know, I'm late ^^)

Also, I've finished the DK general. I redid his base, since the old didn't look good. Smoothed out some bleendings too.

And I took some photos of my old Iron Snakes Army. Those guys will be for sale some time soon.

Work from my table...

I've been working on a lot of stuff recently. The tank is finished, rest is WIP.

Happy Day - Happy Music! ;)

Sergeant Kell finished!

Good feeling to have finished a miniature once again!

Sergeant Kell is now fighting for the 901st of Hydraphur, on a cold winter planet. (Thx to Darkezekiel who did the writing on the banner) ;)

And I started to build a magnetized base for the scriptor, so he can be used in both Space Hulk and 40k battles. Tricky, but now it works. ^^

WIPs...

Just some happy painting... ;)

The Scriptor is getting a magnetized base, tried some Crackle Medim too, but I'm not happy with it yet.

Sergeant Kell got some colour. I'm experimenting with new NMM recipes...

A Sign of Life

Well, it's been a while. Actually almost a year. I have to apologize for keeping this blog empty, but there's a reason:

Last spring, life struck me hard with a major depression, which took me almost a year to recover from. It took away the beauty of the colors, almost every part of my life seemed to be a dull, joyless grey. But after fighting the hardest fight of my entire life, I'm glad to say these words...

It's good to be back! ;)

As you could imagine, I didn't paint a lot in 2011, but as I started feeling the love for the hobby again in the last couple of weeks, I was able to continue on some older projects. Take a look:

Typhus for my upcoming army:

The scriptor from Space Hulk:

And one of Scibors knights, counts as Belial:

So let's pump some life into the veins of this blog again!
Some fitting music: ;)

Androsch
